Welcome to our family! The Wound Care Center is proud to be serving the Grand Traverse Area for the last 2 years. The Wound Care Center is privately owned and is the only clinic of this kind in Northern Michigan. With our approach to wound care, people can receive all of the individualized services they need, such as physical therapy treatment, wound debridement, dressing changes and complete decongestive lymphatic drainage all in one convenient location.

Our Clinical Supervisor Janice Cobb MS,PT

“Hello! My name is Janice Cobb. I am a life-long resident of the beautiful Grand Traverse Area. I have been married 25 years to my wonderful husband, Don, and we have two grown children. In 1999, I received a Masters degree in physical therapy from Central Michigan University (Go Chips!); I am certified in complete lymphatic decongestive therapy, and I am a certified wound specialist through The American Academy of Wound Management. I bring a great deal of wound care experience, having spent most of my career in the inpatient setting at Munson Medical. Now at the Wound Care Center, I strive to keep up to date with the latest in physical therapy treatment techniques and wound care technologies so that I can give the highest quality service in our area.”

Our Office Manager Amber Vittetoe

Hi! My name is Amber Vittetoe. I am a fairly new resident to the Grand Traverse Area, I have been here for 2 years now.  I have over 7 years experience in office management  and have lived all over the United States. I fell in love with Northern Michigan on a long weekend 4 years ago, and finally  made it here 2 years later! I have a wonderful 2 1/2 year old named Ava and a gorgeous fiance named Stuart. We are tying the knot this summer. I truely love working at The Wound Care Center and all the different residents of Grand Traverse that I that I have the priviledge of getting to know. It is a caring community, and I feel fortunate to be a part of it."
